Hey there! I’m Miriam Castle.
I’m so glad you’ve found your way here! Whether we’ve met in person or you’ve discovered me through social media, I’m excited you’re taking a moment to get to know me. I’m an artist based in Tennessee, constantly evolving as a lead vocalist, performer, and songwriter. Music has been my lifelong companion, and my journey in the industry has been one of growth, discovery, and connection.
I grew up in Canyon Lake, Texas, a small, close-knit town nestled between Austin and San Antonio. It’s where I first found my voice and began to pursue my passion for music. Music became even more meaningful to me when I was 13, during a time of personal loss. My grandpa passed away from cancer, and I had the honor of singing to him in his final moments. That experience forever shaped the way I view music—not just as art, but as a deeply powerful, healing force. It taught me how music can connect with the soul in ways that words alone simply can’t, and that understanding has been the foundation of my own music ever since.
As a high schooler, I channeled that newfound perspective into my work, producing my first album, “Can’t Stop the Girl” (which you can find on YouTube). While it’s a reflection of a younger version of me, it’s still something I’m proud of. However, I’m excited to share that I’m working on new music that’s bolder, more authentic, and more reflective of who I am today as an artist.
I’ve had the opportunity to perform across a wide range of genres—salsa, jazz, country, and more—at iconic Nashville venues like Tootsies, Honky Tonk Central, and Rudy’s, just to name a few. Those venues are a special part of my journey, but they certainly aren’t the only places I’ve performed. Music, for me, is about connecting with the audience, and I’m always eager to bring something fresh to every show.
More recently, I had the chance to collaborate with one of MTSU’s top jazz bands and the talented film crew on campus to create a music video for two classic cover songs. It was such a rewarding experience, and the final video is available on YouTube or right here on my website. I also recently released my own music video for “Dust to Dreams,” a song I co-wrote with Jacob Heidrick, and it’s available on YouTube or directly here on my site as well.
Over the years, I’ve produced and performed in several fundraiser shows to support my music and connect with my audience in meaningful ways. I’m always looking for ways to grow as an artist, whether through live performances, songwriting, or studio work.
Currently, I’m taking a brief break from my studies as a Music Industry major at Middle Tennessee State University to focus more on my career. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me, and I’m always open to new opportunities. Whether it’s joining a new band, collaborating with fellow musicians, or continuing to explore Nashville’s music scene, I’m excited about what’s next.
Thanks so much for taking the time to get to know me a little better. I can’t wait to share more of my journey with you as it unfolds. Stay tuned—there’s a lot more to come!
